According to his castmates, David Boreanaz loved stripping down on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”
Well, how about that. After reuniting and reminiscing a bit, it was revealed by his castmates that David Boreanaz loved taking his clothes off on the set of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Fortunately, it seems like the crew didn’t seem to mind. In fact, they all had a good laugh over it.
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Charisma Carpenter noted that while Boreanaz had a few episodes that required a little bit of light nudity (Notably “Faith, Trick and Hope” from the third season) the actor embraced any moment where the clothes came off. And sometimes he created those moments himself.
In fact, according to Gellar, these moments happened “all the time.”
“It’s shocking how often he was comfortable being naked and how giggly he is,” Carpenter added.
This intriguing memory was unveiled all thanks to Entertainment Weekly, who reunited the group for their latest issue. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the popular cult classic.
Luckily, it seemed like the cast was close enough to see Boreanaz’s stunts as more of a funny prank than anything else.
“He would literally come out with no pants on just to see if you could keep a straight face,” said Gellar.
He definitely seemed a little bashful over his antics in the video. But, have no fear David — we’ve all done things in the past that we’re a little embarrassed about today.
